RALEIGH, NC – Under beautiful skies and with perfect golfing weather, the 5th Annual PM’s Juneteenth Golf Tournament delivered a memorable day of sport, community, and purpose. Hosted by Saint Annah Lodge #350 in celebration of Juneteenth and dedicated to the legacy of the late Bro. Kendall Harris, the tournament brought together 75 enthusiastic players, making it the largest turnout in the event’s history.
Golfers of all skill levels teed off early in the morning, enjoying a course in pristine condition and a spirit of friendly competition. While birdies and eagles were celebrated throughout the day, the true highlight of the event was the continued support of Saint Annah Lodge #350 and the Kendall Harris Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Thanks to the generosity of participants, sponsors, and community partners, this year’s tournament will award $1,000 scholarships to a group of deserving recipients. The scholarship, named in honor of the late community advocate Bro. Kendall Harris, supports students who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, and a commitment to service.
“The success of this year’s event reflects the power of unity and purpose,” said Senior Warden Washington. “We’re proud not only of the turnout and great golf, but of the meaningful impact we’re making through these scholarships. It’s a tribute to Prince Hall masonic ideals and to Bro. Harris’ legacy and to the values of Juneteenth.”
As the event concluded with awards, laughter, and community fellowship, it was clear that the PM’s Juneteenth Golf Tournament has become more than just a day on the green—it’s a celebration of heritage, education, and hope for the future.
Plans are already underway for next year’s tournament, promising an even bigger celebration as the tradition continues to grow.
