SAINT ANNAH LODGE #350

Clayton, NC – May 19, 2025 – The brothers of Saint Annah Lodge #350 actively participated in the recent 2025 Annual Carolina Pig Jig, immersing themselves in a weekend filled with exceptional food, strong fellowship, and community spirit. A significant highlight of the event is that proceeds directly benefit the Central Children’s Home of North Carolina, a cause the Lodge was proud to support through its involvement.

The Carolina Pig Jig is renowned for its lively atmosphere and delicious barbecue, bringing together individuals and groups from across the region to support a vital community resource. For Saint Annah Lodge #350, it was an opportunity to not only savor the flavors of the event but also to reinforce the bonds of brotherhood while contributing to the well-being of children and youth in care.

The mission of the Central Children’s Home of North Carolina is to provide family-centered services via an appropriate period of residential group care for children and youth from age 9-21, who cannot remain at home due to dependency, neglect, or abuse. The Home strives to provide a wholesome atmosphere that is conducive to their emotional, educational, social, spiritual, and physical growth and development, which promotes positive family functioning and/or independent living.

“The Carolina Pig Jig is an event our brothers look forward to each year, not just for the incredible fellowship and food, but especially because it supports the vital work of the Central Children’s Home,” said Junior Warden, Tyril Stokes. “Knowing our participation helps provide a nurturing environment for these young people makes the experience even more meaningful.”

Participation in community events like the Carolina Pig Jig, particularly those with such a commendable charitable focus, is a cornerstone of Saint Annah Lodge #350’s commitment to being an active and positive presence in the community.
